Meet Dr. Udo

Background and training

Dr. Udo grew up on the grounds of St. Luke's Hospital, an Irish mission hospital in Anua, Uyo, Nigeria, where his parents worked in healthcare. This early exposure shaped his commitment to medicine and mental health care.

He graduated with merit from the University of Nigeria in 2000. He began specialist training in psychiatry in Kilkenny, South East Ireland in 2006. He subsequently trained in London, UK, and North East England, completing advanced training in Adult Psychiatry and a Fellowship in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry in 2013.

Clinical experience

Dr. Udo has provided consultant-level psychiatric care across acute general hospitals, inpatient mental health units, and community services in the United Kingdom and Ontario, Canada. He has worked within Assertive Community Treatment services in Oxford County, Ontario, and ambulatory and inpatient programs at St. Joseph's Healthcare London.
